Premier League Saturday Wrap up.

Sorry haven't been able to post for the past few days, had some family issues to take care of. Finally the weekend and tons of matches to watch.

In England Everton and Manchester United tied 3-3 in what was perhaps the game of the day. Rooney was left off the field due to his personal problems and to prevent his old club's fans from verbally abusing him all match. Everton came back from a two goal deficit with goals in compensation time from Tim Cahill, who later set up Arteta who would seal the tie.

In other results Arsenal thumped Bolton 4-1 without RvP and Arshavin. Chamakh continues to impress scoring yet another goal.

Chelsea beat West Ham 3-1 and continue in first place while the Hammers still struggle to find consistency.

Manchester City dropped valuable points at home when they were unable to go past Blackburn in their quest for Champion's League football.

Tottenham drew away with West Brom as they fight to stay in the top four again this season. The draw was not the bad news however as they lost Luca Modric who had to leave on crutches.

In a battle of two newly promoted teams, Blackpool got a great result at St. James Park against Newcastle winning 2-0. This was a 6 point game for them as they both seek to avoid relegation this year.

Fulham beat Wolves 2-1 but will be devastated as Bobby Zamora had to leave the field on a stretcher and an oxygen mask due to a challenge from Karl Henry. Rumours say he could be out for as long as 4 months.

Finally Wigan and Sunderland drew 1-1 with new signing Asamoah Gyan scoring for Sunderland. Lee Catermole saw his second red in three matches, after claiming he was not a dirty player earlier this week.

That's it for today, we'll see Liverpool tomorrow and wrap up the Spanish Primera.

Eurocup Qualifying

Well another round of qualifying is through. Not may surprises today. The only real upset was Russia losing 1-nil to Slovakia at home, tough loss will be sad if they manage to repeat their WC campaign and not be in the finals.

Injuries: The most notable is Arsenal, always suffering in the international scene. Yet again Robin Van Persie is out possibly missing a crucial game against Chelsea and Theo Walcott had to leave the field injured as well. Nothing has been confirmed yet so we'll keep an eye on them.

England in Roo-ins

So another high profile player accused of paying for sex. This time it's Wayne Rooney who apparently payed $1,800 per night to spend some quality time with a high class prostitute, Jennifer Thompson. This happened various times while his wife Coleen was pregnant. Should anyone really care? If I were Wayne I'd be angry that someone who is supposed to be a professional is out there selling stories to the tabloids. Well at least she's not underage right?

Mexico Vs. Ecuador

30 mins in. A half empty stadium and a boring game. Ecuador leas 1-0 by a goal from Christian Benitez 30 seconds in, stemming from a bad mistake by Salcido. Mexico had the equalizer but Vela screws it up by being himself and sends it over the goal post and then laughs like he always does. Ecuador dominated the first half but Ochoa managed to keep it to only 1 goal. The game was momentarily tied by an own goal from an Ecuadorian defender from a deflected pass by Chicharo. Ecuador scored a second time in the second half via Ayovi. The only positive thing for Mexico from this game was that Vela was booed off after being subbed, maybe people are finally starting to realize he's no good.
